WHO WE ARE

Uniting nature and science to design a sustainable future

A biomaterials research and design practice building bio-based solutions for the built environment — from lab discovery to industry-ready technology.

About us

At BioMat, our journey is a testament to the extraordinary union of nature and science. What began as a spark of curiosity — a belief that nature holds the answers to tomorrow's challenges — has evolved into a pioneering movement toward biological innovation and sustainable solutions.

Every breakthrough is rooted in a deep respect for the natural world, merging traditional wisdom with cutting-edge research — because true progress happens when science and nature work in harmony.

Our Aim

We believe that material properties are the key to shaping the future of sustainable architecture.

By uniting Material Research, Architectural Design, and Digital Fabrication, we create innovative solutions that respect the environment and redefine what's possible in the built world. Our guiding philosophy — "Materials as a Design Tool" — ensures every project is a step toward a more resilient, forward-thinking future.
